Progressive Harvest Party

Hey OVV Families,   We want to invite you to a Progressive Harvest Party and Food Bank Fundraiser. Wow, that is quite a mouthful!    

When? Saturday, October 31st from 9:30am - 11:30 am (We hope!!! We’re holding all things  loosely these days… subject to changes in direction from the Health Unit.)    

Anyhoo, the plan is to have provide a little covid-protocol-compliant socially distant CONNECTION and covid-protocol-compliant socially distant FUN for some of our covid protocol compliant socially distant FAMILIES with covid-protocol-compliant socially distant CHILDREN. In case you didn’t catch it, this event will be covid-protocol compliant and socially  distant. In future, let’s call it C.P.C.S.D. and pronounce it “sipicsid!”    Using three separate outdoor locations in our region, we’ll set up some fun activity stations  geared for kids under 10 (big kids welcome). Your job will be to show up with your kids and  have some “sipicsid” fun as you progress from one station to the next… just like a progressive dinner but more fun and less “dinner-y”! ;)

• Fun Station #1: Campfire, Crafts, Pumpkins (no knives involved), Fall photo-booth and  chicken-chase. (all “sipicsid”, of course)
• Fun Station #2: Fruits of the Spirit Scavenger Hunt, Bubble-fest and Hopscotch Silly-Walk.  (all “sipicsid”, of course)
• Fun Station #3: Pig-tour, Balloon Pumpkin Stomp, Ring Toss and Pin the tail on the pig. (all  “sipicsid”… of course!)

We’d love to see kids in costume!    

If you are interested, please sign up all participants by name. Just prior to the event, we’ll email out an itinerary with locations. Your start-time will be a 9:30am. It should take about 2 hours to complete the circuit including drive-time.  

Please bring non-perishable items and/or cash donations for the Lanark County Food Bank.  These items can be dropped of at any of the fun-stations.
