TBD Youth Kick Off - Jr Youth (grade 7-8)

Hey Guys…

It’s late in September. We should be at Youth. What’s going on???

That’s right! It’s been a pretty crazy year so far, but we’re not going to let this pandemic stop us! Your fearless leaders have been planning and scheming to figure out how we can meet together safely, and we’ve hatched a cunning plan. We’re kicking things off next week with our first youth night of the year at the Shaefer’s place. We’ll play some socially distanced games, enjoy a socially distanced campfire, do some socially distanced worship, and generally just a have a good ‘ole socially distanced time.

Plan was to have everyone together – Grade 7 through 12 – but with the new Ontario government rules for outdoor gatherings with reduced numbers, we had to change it up. So we’ve decided to roll with it and run a split kick-off this year. 

Sr Youth (grade 9-12) on Tuesday, Sept 29, and Jr Youth (grade 7 & 8) on the following Thursday (Oct 1).

We’ll take all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe (and ensure we’re in compliance with the provincial requirements). Part of that will be having folks sign up to make sure we don’t exceed the 25 person limit, and to speed up the arrival process. As such, please shoot us an email letting us know you’re coming. We’re also asking everyone to bring your mask – shouldn’t be needed as we’re outside, but just in case there are circumstances where the 2m separation requirement can’t be met.
